Phenomenon: the vacuumizing capacity of the vacuum pump decreases, and the limit vacuum of the vacuum pump under no-load condition is 8 Pa; after the disassembly and maintenance of the vacuum pump, the limit vacuum of the vacuum pump under no-load condition is less than 1 PA.
Maintenance process: the vacuum pump was disassembled for maintenance and performance test after maintenance. After disassembly, it was found that a large number of impurities were deposited in the vacuum pump cavity, the vacuum oil was turbid and viscous, the rotating discs at all levels were worn to varying degrees, the check valve was damaged and the exhaust valve was cracked. The specific instructions are as follows:
1. The vacuum pump oil is turbid and has high viscosity. The main reasons are related to the deposition of a large number of impurities in the chamber and the long replacement period of vacuum oil. The figure below shows the vacuum oil discharged from the vacuum pump chamber and the new oil added.

2. There are a lot of impurities deposited in the suction filter screen of vacuum pump, and the mesh is blocked

3. There are a lot of impurities deposited and adhered in the vacuum pump chamber. The impurities will flow with the operation of the vacuum pump, which is easy to cause the rotor of the vacuum pump to be stuck, the rotating blades at all levels of the vacuum pump are scratched and damaged, the oil circuit is blocked, and the exhaust valve plate is broken, which affects the evacuation capacity of the vacuum pump, and even leads to the damage of the main components such as the vacuum pump rotor.
Because a large number of impurities have adhered to the chamber, it is difficult to remove them by ordinary cleaning, so chemical agent immersion cleaning and physical grinding are needed to remove them. It is confirmed that the impurities in the cavity are mainly rubber slag deposits, and other components cannot be determined. It is necessary to conduct technical discussion with customers for in-depth understanding.

The exhaust valve plays the role of one-way valve in the vacuum pump. After the rupture, the function of the one-way valve of the exhaust valve piece fails, resulting in the vacuum pump can not normally vacuum, so the vacuum pumping capacity of the vacuum pump decreases.
5. In the vacuum pump, there are different degrees of wear and scratch on the rotating discs at different levels. The radian of the side friction surface of the first stage rotor in the vacuum pump has been smoothed, which results in the increase of the clearance between the rotors and the evacuation capacity.
6. The oil level monitoring glass of vacuum pump has been corroded and impurities attached, so it is impossible to observe the oil level in the vacuum pump chamber clearly.
7. The suction and exhaust filter screen of vacuum pump rotor has been damaged and corroded to a certain extent
8. The sealing ring of vacuum pump cavity has been damaged, and it may cause oil leakage if it can not be used continuously.
9. The check valve of the vacuum pump has been damaged, resulting in the vacuum drop.
10. Vacuum pump maintenance project summary:
10-1 vacuum pump oil replacement;
10-2 vacuum pump cavity and rotor cleaning, polishing; air extraction filter cleaning;
10-3 vacuum pump first stage rotating disc, second stage rotating disc and small rotating disc are replaced; first stage rotating disc and second stage rotating disc are each one (two pieces), and small rotating disc is one piece;
10-4 vacuum pump exhaust valve plate replacement;
10-5 vacuum pump oil level monitoring window glass replacement;
10-6 vacuum pump rotor exhaust filter screen replacement;
10-7 vacuum chamber seal ring replacement.
10-8 vacuum pump check valve replacement.
Suggestion: during the disassembly inspection, it is found that there are some acid impurities in the vacuum pump cavity, which are attached to the inner wall of the cavity and other accessories, and there are too many impurities in the vacuum pump, which can easily cause damage to the vacuum pump. Please note that the vacuum pump of the vacuum plasma cleaning machine needs regular disassembly and maintenance.
