It is understood that the system consists of three experimental platforms, i.e., the "positive displacement vacuum pump performance standard test bench", "screw vacuum pump (unit) performance research experimental platform" and "typical medical, chemical and food process vacuum system full working condition process simulation test bench". "Our college was established in August this year after the optimization and adjustment of disciplines and specialties on the basis of the former college of mechanical engineering. It is close to the local industry and strives to cultivate high-quality applied talents in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, mechanical design and manufacturing and aviation UAV to meet the needs of local economic and social development." Zhang Yongju, President of the Institute of intelligent manufacturing, told reporters that as a characteristic industry of Taizhou, the pump industry has a certain scale. In order to better serve Taizhou enterprises, Taizhou University began to plan and construct the vacuum pump intelligent test system in March 2017, and has invested nearly 3 million yuan so far. "The intelligent test system of vacuum pump can simulate the process environment of the pump in the medical, chemical and food processes, provide the reliability and energy efficiency analysis of the pump under the above environment, and provide scientific basis for enterprises to promote their products to other fields." Zhang Yongju said.
The reporter learned that the completion of the system can not only provide teaching and research conditions for students and teachers majoring in fluid machinery, but also provide technical support for enterprises in vacuum equipment industry in our city, strengthen the collaborative innovation of production, teaching and research, help enterprises speed up the development and application of new products, and promote the cultivation of seven hundred billion billion industrial clusters such as pumps and motors, medicine and chemical industry 。
